Essay on Terrorism - A Threat to the World
Terrorism is an act of showing hatred towards a government or a country. When an individual or a group of people don't like a country or a government, they try to harm that country or government, by all means, these include bomb blasts, kidnapping, threatening, violence, etc. Terrorists also hijack plains and buildings, they ask for money or to get another terrorist free who has been captured in exchange for hostages.
Most of the terrorist organizations are operated in Pakistan hence, it is also known as the center of terrorism. Countries like US and Russia had also funded some terrorist groups to achieve political aims and to become the powerful nation in the world. The most popular terrorist groups are - Al-Qaeda, Tehreek-e-Talibaan Pakistan, Ansar-ul-Islam, etc. All the popular terrorist groups have a birth in Pakistan and are also funded by it. Pakistan is also responsible for the 26/11 attack in India and the 9/11 attack in the US. On 26th November 2008, a group of 10 terrorists from Lakshar-e-Taiba (terrorist organization from Pakistan) attacked Taj Hotel in Mumbai. In this attack, 175 innocents lost their lives. 9 terrorists were killed in the counter-attack and left one was arrested, he accepted that he is from Pakistan and got orders from Lakshar-e-Taiba to carry out this operation across Mumbai, later he was hanged to death.
Terrorists make money through funds provided by Pakistan and other Gulf Countries, illegally selling drugs, pirated software, pirated games, and weapons.

India has always stood up against terrorism and has taken successful measures to stop it. India has taken several steps against Pakistan and terrorism like the Kashmir Act and the airstrike of 2019 (Balakot airstrike). Other countries must take strict actions against Pakistan and the countries that are funding terrorism. The UN has also put several sanctions on Pakistan after the 2001 Terrorists Act.
When someone talks about terrorism, the first thought that comes to our mind is Muslim. We have to understand that a terrorist is neither a Hindu nor a Muslim. We can't blame the whole religion just because of some people.
Terrorism and Pakistan have always been a threat to India and the world and we have to take strong measures to stop them. We can stop terrorism by -
- Cutting their funds by taking action on countries like Pakistan.
- Assisting the counter-terrorism team by reporting any suspicious activity.
- Teaching children about terrorism.
- Destroying the factories that manufacture arms illegally.
- Eliminating the root of Terrorism.
